The
letter Isaac receives from the frail, old woman
at the church he abandoned puts an unexpected
twist on the visions he's been having. Opal
is murdered and only he believes her death connected
to the mysterious robed figures lurking in Spangleborough's
shadowy places.
Utilizing
the unusual items accompanying Opal's letter,
Isaac attempts to unravel the mystery before
losing his mind, hoping to safeguard the woman
he loves and a child he swore to protect. The
town erupts in chaos, complicating that plan.
When
the man responsible for ruining Isaac's life
makes parole, everything changes and Isaac finds
himself struggling against an abandoned faith
and walking nightmares in an effort to expose
the truth and protect those he loves from the
people who hate them. From the very thing he
almost became.
